The carefully restored landmark is once again hosting San Diego ‘s finest events. In one of the most exquisitely designed rooms in the State of California, renowned Events Director Kathi Skillman hosts a variety of special events.
Since 1927 Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, William Jefferson Clinton and Barack Obama have all entertained in the Don Room. Occasions for Professional Sports teams, Fundraising causes, Corporate dinners and Holiday parties, Weddings, Television Productions, Award winning motion picture projects and even Top Chefs and Iron Chefs all use the gorgeous ballroom to party, create, think, and celebrate.
The Don Room and Terrace can accommodate from 20 to 450 guests in an especially memorable ambiance. The outdoor Terrace with “urban” fireplace is the perfect spot for guests to mingle over a cocktail, and “out of town” party goers find delight in our mild San Diego weather.
